I was working construction, a stranger in a strange land. I was all alone with my old Kay guitar. I recorded "Fearing the Future, as the Past Grows Dim." The name came from an old sci-fi novel. The only songs I remember from that recording, which was stolen long ago, are "Double-barrell-derringer-carrier," and the title track, which I re-vamped in 1993.
