1991 Offering

Recorded "through the air," as we liked to refer to the method (a phrase coined by Denny Harwell). That was recording one track by means of a condenser mic (in this case a cheap boom-box), then playing along with that cassette tape while recording on another & repeating the process for each additional track. Some titles were recorded live on a cheap 4-track.

These titles were recorded in 1991, one added in 1992. Equipment: Washburn guitar (I think), Peavey distortion pedal, Ibanez Powerlead pedal, Pearl 5-pc drum kit, Peavey amp combo (I think), toy keyboard, tape recorder. "Offering" was the first song I ever recorded using a multitrack device. These titles do not appear in chronological order. Denny Lee Harwell: acoustic drums; Greg Price: (I think he played/wrote some guitar parts); Tom Lewis: guitar & writing on "Men at Arms;" Garth Bradley Hileman: everything else.
